Guest guest Posted February 10, 2008 Report Share Posted February 10, 2008 Dear sir/Madam RNP+ (Rajasthan Network For People Living With HIV/AIDS ) is forced out to conduct a community based treatment advocacy ( open forum ) to communicate and release the heaviness pressure bounded ahead of PLWHA life in Rajasthan due to the shortage of OI medicines in an affordable prices. In Rajasthan the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS epidemic threatens the very fabric of the society. It is imaginable the ways they need to fight and survive for access to health care and for basic services. To go for treatment and OI medicines is now became an insurmountable task. Absence of balance of treatment provisions in affordable and comprehensive techniques at various levels in fact plunging PLWHA life miserably. Change is needed if we are here; to continue to deliver high quality care to HIV/AIDS patients it will be a pristine attempt in the life PLWHA in Rajasthan. Some more specialist efforts are urging in an assertive manner to keep our promises to protect PLWHA life from worst possible condition. In this prevailing critical condition, RNP+ would like to talk to the community and prefer discussion with the concerned people to fill the vacuum existing in the provisions of OI management efforts. In order to spearhead this treatment message and bring the attention of Govt: officials the following specific advocacy programs are scheduled on 12 & 13 of this month. Programme 1. Open forum – pleading for OI medicines (a symbolic approach of 20 -25 PLWHA on road) 2. Positive speaking by PLWHA to address the issues 3. Street play (purpose oriented attempt for increased conscious efforts) 4. Dialogue and discussion with partners, govt: officials and NGO friends (because still have hope) Date & Venue: 12/02/08 13/02/08 1. Health Directorate 1. Albert Hall 2. SMS hospital premises 2. Rajasthan University 3. Statue Circle Timing 1 pm – 3pm (on 12th Feb. 2008) 11am to 5pm (on 13th Feb. 2008) Finally the recommendations and reproduction of the scooted scenes of the proposed programme will be shared first with the respectful RSACS officials and other concerned officials time to time.
