Guest guest
Hi All We have been getting a lot of posts with horrific typing/spelling mistakes. The moderators have been correcting most of them behind the scenes. It's a lot of extra work for the four of us. Please use your spell checkers and proof read your own posts before you send them in. All email programs have spell checkers and Yahoo web mail highlights all words that are spelled improperly. Also please try to avoid abbreviations. Type the word out in full. If you're not sure how to spell something, there are plenty of on line dictionaries to help you. Heck, even if you type a word into Google and you spell it wrong, Google will offer the correct spelling to you. Also, please avoid using the ampersand. That's the & key. We have a number of blind and vision impaired members. Their " real aloud " computer programs cannot handle major spelling mistakes and many trendy abbreviations. On our main page it states that we support our visually impaired members. If you didn't read the page, when you signed up, please go back and read it and follow its directions. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/chronic_pain/ I know those of us who can see alright are very grateful for that. Please be a friend to our members who can't see well or who can't see at all. Take the time to make sure your email is readable before you send it to the group. Thank you.
