Any neurologist should be able to treat your migraines. There are many

non narcotic medicines that work very well for most peoples' migraines.

Most are used to abort the migraine.

Some of us migraineurs are more complicated. I need to get radio

frequency lesioning done to my neck to help keep the head pain down. I

also take Cafergot, Migranol, the occasional Metoclopramide (Reglan/US,

Maxeran/Can) and occasionally I take Fiorinal or Fioricet. A person has

to be careful with pain killers for migraine, as they can cause rebound

headaches in lots of people.

Any family doctor who is any good should be able to treat regular migraines.
