Guest guest
Hi All, I went to see the orthopedic Dr yesterday. I will have surgery but not sure when yet as my caseworker won't be in until Monday and how fast the paperwork can get through. The doctor explained what he will do - take all the hardware out and scrape the ankle and see if I have an infection. He doesn't think I do. Finally I got the darn pain medication. Tramadol. I'm scratching a little, but where I live it's dry. I just hope I'm not having a reaction and also I notice it makes my breathing a little hard. So I'm keeping an eye on both. My goodness it's a working wonder. I took one last night and this morning I was in no pain, but now I have a little pain because I'm cleaning my apartment and it's been a while. The Tramadol does make me drowsy, so I can't drive until it's wear off. My Mom doesn't think I need pain medication and she doesn't know how much pain I'm in. I was at her house this week working in the front yard on the rocks and pulling weeds. That day and the next day (that when is saw the doctor) I was in really bad pain. I don't listen to my Mom sine she is not a doctor and she thinks she know it all. I take the Tramadol as needed. I may have to take one tonight depending on the pain. I will keep you informed when I will have the surgery. I hope it will be soon so I can get over this. Christa
