Guest guest
Christie in chilly Arizona (keeping all of you who are having bad winter weather in my prayers) Hi Christie We haven't had too much snow here in Southwest Montana, but it was -22 F here last night. This is much better than up on the high line, between Montana and Canada, but it was -60 F with the wind chill factor in the Eastern part of the state on the prairie. I am grateful that we have had all the snow and ice so many other states have had. The weather is causing my pain to increase so much, but this too shall pass right? One of the best things about Montana is that almost every day is bright and sunny. It's very helpful to keep my mood normal. Kaylene
Guest guest
I have found that I can stand the heat (yes, even the 120 degrees!) a lot better than I can the cold. The heat is a dry heat. I have trouble with the heat where I grew up (North of Houston, TX) as it is a very humid heat. The trick to the heat here in the desert is to stay hydrated. I carry a bottle of water with me everywhere I go year round. Guest guest
I have to agree with you on the heat plus humidity. Zaps every bit of energy I have and I sweat at the least movement. In my area of Indiana we have quite the breeze in the summer, the only thing that saves me at all. In winter it's so bitter though, a wet cold is worse than the deep freeze with little humidity. Those cold November rains are as bad as the heat and the humidity in the summer. Bloomington, IN may be a " cute " little city, but it has the worst weather of any place I have ever lived!
