My insurance won't pay for injections, but I haven't heard much good about

them,

so I don't really know.

Hi Coleen

Congratulations on quitting smoking, it will help your health and your pocket

book.

If your doctor does believe at least of trial of any of those medications is

worth the

possible side affects contact the manufacturer and you should qualify for free

medication.

It's good to hear from you, but sorry that you are having so much pain.

hi Kaylene,

Thanks for the reminder of possibly getting help from the Rx manufacturer, I

have been so down about not getting anywhere that I don't go out anywhere much.

My regular doc just tells me that they do not deal with chronic pain  themselves

but will refer me elsewhere so that is good on 1 side, but on the other

hand...where do I go?   No doctors on the So. Or. coast.

As for the smoking, it made  me cough and that alone hurt my back.

Guess I  better get on the horn, huh!  :)   Keep my spirits up somehow.

ttyl, Coleen

Coleen If the injections do help your doctor can help you get authorization for

the insurance to cover them. Sometimes it just requires a letter from the

doctor detailing that other treatments have been tried and were not effective.

Be worth a try if the injections offer some relief. Hope you get some pain

relief soon.

Gentle hugs, Tami
