Guest guest
Yesterday was a very bad day for me too. I have Idiopathic Peripheral Neuropathy, in other words nerve damage in my feet and they don't know why. Some days are really bad and yesterday was one of those that I have about once or twice a month. Live in the DC area. Anyway I was on Tramadol two different periods over the last several years. It is one of the few meds that are safe for kidneys. The first time my Rheumatoid Arthritis doctor prescribed it and took me up to 200MG of Tramadol. When that stopped working he switched me over to the extended release which for me, is way better than the regular Tramadol. So I worked my way up to 300MG Tramadol ER and then my body totally synthesized the drug, after 7 months and I had to be weaned off of it. I had extreme anxiety when I just stopped. Doctor didn't believe me. So a couple of years later my pain mgmt. doctor wanted me to take it. The same thing happened though he stopped me at 200MG Tramadol ER and then took 50-100MG's more per day as needed if it got bad. A better strategy then 300MG Tramadol ER so I thought. I'm on a pain patch now. God knows what they will switch me to next but it was encouraging to know that I could come back to Tramadol and it worked again after a couple of years since the first time taking it.
