Job Vacancy in Imphal and Ngaland with the Project Orchid

The Nossal Institute (http://www.ni.unimelb.edu.au/) is looking to recruit One

(1) Finance Officer and Two (2) Administration Officer to support a project that

it is executing with Project Orchid in Nagaland and Manipur.

The position for Finance Officer and One (1) Administration Officer is based in

Kohima, Nagaland and position for One (1) Administration Officer is based in

Imphal, Manipur.

The person for Finance Officer should have the following strengths:

·Educated to CA part-qualified level with proven accounting

experience and financial management skills.

·High level of computer literacy, excellent working knowledge

of spreadsheets

·Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and

work to deadlines.

·Experience of management/supervisory responsibilities and

ability to take charge and manage a team when required.

·Good interpersonal and team skills

·Sensitivity to cultural differences.

·Willingness to travel at short notice

· Excellent communication skills and fluent written and spoken English.

The person for Administration Officer should have the following strength:

Qualifications and or experience in administration related skills , managing

supplies, team support, and communications.

Well developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be

flexible in demanding situations.

Experience in office management.

Previous work experience, ideally with non-governmental organisations

would be an advantage.

High level of computer literacy.

Good written and spoken English is essential.

Basic working knowledge of one or more of the following languages:

Manipuri or Nagamese.
