I am new to the group and find that a lot of the feedback and input here by all

the members is very useful.

I also suffer from chronic pain and each day I am intrigued at all the

interesting information provided by the members here. So kudos to everyone, the

knowledge shared is always something gained for me.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, I have a long list of other issues that

I have been diagnosed with also and battle mostly with the pain that and the

pain from 3 herniated disks that " got my attention " from working out. Only to

discover that I had to make changes to my lifestyle all together in order to

better understand just what was taking over my body once I learned that the

fibromyalgia was not going to allow me to be as functionable as I once was.

Including working a 8 hour day.

Oh by the way...I am only 40 and I feel like I am much older and falling apart

at times having good and bad days, but I am here thank God.

The chronic pain only makes things more stressful that which I am learning to

manage if I want to just be mobile as I suffer from depression and anxiety as

well. I am trying to get better so I can return to work full time to take care

of home as I am a single mother with 2 boys also with special needs. There are

days when I ask, " what about me " , but I continue the fight for others to

understand that my condition is at times debilitating and at the same time I

just keep going, because that is what I have to do. That is all I know, but my

body says otherwise.

With all the therapies and treatments I tried, I am at peace knowing that I am

not alone, I am not " crazy " , that this is real and being in this group know that

I will never have all the answers to my question but gain a better understanding

of how to better cope and live day to day with my illness and remain positive as

it could be worse, but God will only give me that which he knows I can handle.

And I leave it in his hands that he will continue to give me the strength to

keep going.

not all " in your head " !
