Guest guest
So sorry you are having so much discomfort. My pain got considerably better when my Dr. put me on an antidepressant and lyrica. I'm not saying that's what you need, just that maybe you should talk to your Dr. and see if there are some options you haven't explored yet. Cheryl Hovey > wrote: > Hi, just signed up here. Guest guest
Hi , So sorry that you are having to deal with this. I understand how frustrating and painful back pain is, especially when it limits what you can do. Have you gotten other opinions lately? If only they could release the pressure on the nerves that are affecting your legs, or manage your pain so that the side effects of the medications don't limit you too. What medications have you tried? Are you going to a pain management group? If you are like me, you can't much afford paying for alternative medicine like acupuncture. I just am trying to see if maybe there's some device or therapy that you could try, and of course medication that might help the pain and allow you to function better. There are corrective procedures for various stages of back degeneration. You need to find a doctor who really knows his/her stuff. Most pain patients reach that point and it is time to get a re evaluation to see what interventions can help .Most pain patients are on a multi-modal pain program which includes medication therapy, physical therapy, counseling, acupuncture, heat, low impact water therapy, exercise and other interventions. I think getting a re-evaluation of your problem and make sure you don't have others would help with a treatment plan. Bennie
