Guest guest
LOL, I'm so glad you fooled even yourself, Lyndi! What an amazement, and I hope you're as pleased with the outcome. It can't be easy having prepared yourself for one ending only to find another. THANK YOU for the constipation information. I'll write all this down and see what sense I can make of my body's weird reactions. I HAVE started adding a tbsp of bran to the Total cereal in the morning in an effort to increase the bulk, but doggone it, I just can't COUNT on being able to eat the rest of the day, and I know THAT's one of the constipation problems. Proper POSTURE on the toilet is also important, but I find I'm bending over because the pain meds haven't yet kicked in and it hurts too much to sit upright. I've tried prune juice every morning and then Miralax every night and nothing happens until finally the 4th morning when there's an explosion which lasts for 2-3 days, and there are 3-4 days of being zonked because I hurt and feel utterly lousy. I know exercise is good but again, I can't count on being ABLE to do much walking even around the house much less up to the barn. I think I'm realizing that it's not the cancer pain which is so debilitating but the constipation which is almost equally such a HUGE problem for me. I finally stopped exploding last night and today felt pretty good, needing only " normal " pain meds. it's GOTTA be the constipation! I was actually able to walk up to the barn TWICE today: the goats were VERY happy! I will Save this Lyndi, and I'm going to start keeping track on a separate piece of paper what I eat and when and which control methods I've tried: there's GOT to be sense and logic here somewhere. Ah it used to be SO simple when all I had to do was a swallow of mineral oil at night. MANY thanks! xoxox Helena
