First off, I did not mean to delete your post to Lori, when I added a " book " in

the reply by rattling on. I hope your area did not not get much damage, my Mom

and Dad lived two streets over from where a tornado touched down twice in five

years in Paris Texas.

My Dad, the Farmer he is and in his uptown house, steps out on the porch in his

BVD's, and is watching the debris fly by in the sky, and asks my Mother, " Do you

see those bed sheets? " She answers, " Damn Mac, those are the siding from

peoples house " He then says, " Lets take a ride in the car and follow it "

Mom, having experienced tornadoes before (me and Dad also) stated, " No, Dammit,

Mac, they can turn around and come back your way " .

He then says, " Well you are always complaining I don't take you anyplace. This

is what I grew up with. Let's go out and play in tornadoes and thunderstorms,

they won't get you! When we were in the Military, we also knew who was from the

South as they were the people who came out in the thunderstorms as if was a

movie attraction We always waved at each other while others hid in the closet.

Had some close calls with tornadoes though (twice) so I respect them and floods.

I do not cross flowing water or go tubing during floods. This is a very

compassionate group and understands events you have to take care of and they

also remember you and welcome you when you do post.

Oh, what a stressful job, being a caregiver, I can relate I lost my

Mother in 2004 (Jan) and I was her caregiver from Friday thru Sunday leaving on

Monday to come back to work and then finish my Masters In Special Ed, two

classes at night. This was from Oct to Jan and the nurse and making the six

hour drive.

I just fell apart after that and tried to take care of myself, but found out

when I had after having 15 spinal injections and Spine Universe an the Spine

Doctor Society says that after three epidurals, a discogram should be done as it

seems the procedure did not work. Well, I was told my prognosis was poor and

nothing could be done I would probably be an invalid soon.

I had a three level spinal fusion with instrumentation and was doing fine until

I had an auto accident and damaged my SI joint and lost my job in Nov 2006 O

dragged myself to work every day in pain and slept in the car at lunch so I

could do balls on my back.

The point is, don't ever be afraid to post here. It is a good group. Bennie
