Hi ,

I am praying for you and Cassie right at this moment for a very peaceful, restful night and when she awakes in the morning for extra energy for the great adventure ahead. Take care and get to bed yourself.

With love,

Lynda R.

Thanks Alice, Lynda and for the support.

We did have a bit of a rough night. Cassie kept waking up, saying she can't

sleep. She does deal with sleep insomnia, but I also think she was having

difficulty because of being so excited about the field trip the next day.

Cassie didn't need to be awake until about 6:15 AM, she was wide awake at

about 5 AM today. She usually doesn't wake up for school until about 8:15

AM, so I was a bit concerned that she was up so soon. We had a beautiful

day (sunny and 71 degrees) to enjoy on the field trip. The trip went

smoothly, she had no problems whatsoever during the trip. She was even able

to partake of some lunch (eating is very difficult for her, due to choking.)

So, she had a wonderful day. But, did go to bed much earlier tonight.

Thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers, they mean alot.

I am so glad that things went well for Cassie and she got to go on the field trip. These kinds of things are so important to disabled kids. It gives them a chance to feel like one of the gang.

I hope you get some sleep as well.

I agree with Laurie on this and I felt so good when I

read that the trip went well. Hopefully, it didn't

put too much stress on her system and just made her

feel better.

Thanks so much for letting us know how it went.
