Guest guest
First of all, I just wanted to say that I'm so happy to hear of all the successes there have been with this group as of late, new mommy's, pregnancies, determined little beans, and scar-free people, it's great! and very very encouraging I find. For me, as each day passes I doubt more that I even have Asherman's. Not that I WANT AS, but the alternative is not knowing what is wrong. I've literally not had a single day since June 11 where I have not bled, mind you some days are so light that it doesn't require any protection. But, I've been to the hospital twice because the bleeding was so heavy that it scared me to death. Every doctor, says " It's a good sign " , " your uterus feels fine " , " I don't see any tissue coming out " . I just don't know any more. I'm starting to feel a little light headed at times now but I have no significant pain, I would describe it as mild menstral cramps sometimes. On Aug 10, I ended 10 days of provera (and spotted all the way through those 10 days). 4 days after I finished the drug, I started bleeding very heavily again. (I know... good sign right ) I passed clumps of red something(clots??) that were the size of my palm (not exagerating). It's been 8 days now and every 6 or 7 hours, I get a massive gush of blood and/or clots that completely fill/overfill a pad... So much that sometimes I can't just place a pad there and carry on because it will soak in a matter of minutes. Then it settles down and I'll have minimal bleeding for several hours, then the gush happens again. I had to cancel a lake weekend trip because of it and today was especially bad so I came home from work, I don't trust myself to be out anywhere. I called the specialist about this so they've agreed to see me tomorrow. I also have a hyst/lap scheduled for Sept. 10. I don't really expect too many comments about this because I'm sure this is not a symptom of AS. But I do have a question about the hyst/lap. Many of you describe a diagnostic hyst and an operative one. Is it practically the same procedure? I mean if I go in for an operative hyst and he finds nothing in there, I'm not risking anything right? Since I'm doubtful of having AS now, I just wonder if I should be having the hyst? I really want a Dr. to see what the heck is going on in there, but am worried that I might be going in for something that is more than what I need. Sorry this is so long, thanks for listening. ....Deb
