Guest guest
Hi, , and welcome to the group! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Webmedx employee Career Step graduate, 10/02/01 Experience: 9 months My Home Page: http://www.renesue.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello Hello my name is Lott and I am new to this group. I am currently taking a medical transcription course with CAI transcription. It has been fun for me to read all of the posts and see what I will be getting myself into. I did do medical transcription work for a family practice office in Arizona before moving here to Louisana about 4 months ago. Am anxious to finish this course and see if anyone will hire me. I am a LPN but stopped working about 4 years ago when my second daughter came along. I really love the medical field and think that this is a way to keep myself in the swing of things but still be able to be home with my kids, hopefully. Glad to meet you all. Guest guest
Have they tried fertility meds to help you ovulate more? hello I had a tubal reversal done by the military. I was given a 25% chance of getting pregnant with only the use of my right tube. What would i need to do to be able to up those chances any? Or if there is any chance that i will get pregnant? The dissappointment every month is starting to hurt to much to keep even trying. I thank you for any imput that you may offer. Guest guest
Welcome and hello to you. Do you know how long your right tube is? To the best of my knowledge one is as good as two. Maybe not exactly but pretty close. Have you had the test done to make sure there is no blockage after your surgery(HSG?)? If there is blockage they can unclog it. Just so you know, there may be nothing wrong either. It may just be taking a while. Did your husband have the semen analysis done to make sure it is not him. Some of the ladies here can tell you more about fertility meds(like Clomid and such), but I hope you find some answers. God Bless Carol Maday P.S. My name is Carol Ann and I am 31, so when I saw your user id, i was immediately intrigued. lol

Guest guest
Welcome to the group Joyce: I guess I've been fortunate so far in the six years since I've been diagnosed type 2. I've been on 850 mgs of metformin the whole time, no combinations of anything yet. I do take 4 different blood pressure pills and lipitor (for cholesterol control) though. I'm probably heading for more combos or something as my average bg's have been going up slowly...started at A1c of 5.9 6 years ago to average of 7.2 now. I go thru those same periods where I don't monitor my bg's and then do. Again, welcome, Ken GreyEagle -- Hello I'm new to the group and was diagnosed with type 2 about 12 years ago. My success as been up and down. I am on about 7 meds including 3 for my diabetes.
Guest guest
Hi Ken, I also take Diovan for bp and Crestor for cholesterol. In January, my a1c was over 11 but last month it was down to 9 so it is getting better. I had a lot of stress last year and I think that has a lot to do with mine getting out of control also. In fact when I went in last time, my cholesterol had also come down. I am glad I joined this group. Guest guest
Deb Hi, This is Marti. I was a donor myself. Is Mike having GI problems? I knew he was having trouble but did not know what. My dr told me preop that nausea would be the biggest hurddle and he was right. Tell him it will get better. At 50 my surgeon told me more than once I was an "older donor" so things would be slower for me. How old is Mike. Are you 2 just young wipper snappers? Marti Deb wrote: Hi all,Just wanted to send a quick message to the group thanking you all for your kind posts and outpourings of love this week! I wondered why things were so quiet on here until I realized it was the holiday weekend - time flies when you're at club med! Haven't caught up on the posts much, but hope to catch up eventually with how everyone is doing. Mike is still in his limbo-land and can use your continued prayers. I think we might have been home-free last night had he not taken the prevacid that activates his gag reflex so badly. He seemed so much like he was beginning to make progress yesterday...I just know that we're any second from turning the magical corner and staying there. Thank you all again for everything...Love, (Deb in VA)PSC 1998, UC 1999, Listed Ltx 2001, HE 1/2005, LDLTX 5/19/2005 and feeling AWESOME (minus surgical pain, of course!) Guest guest
Hi, i understand all the non belief we get from people. It really is emotionally painful to not be believed. Continue to write and read on here. Welcome, you have found the place where there is understanding. Debra Van Ness valigirl1981 wrote: Hi, My name is and Im 26 years old. I joined this group because its hard to talk to people about your pain when they think your to young to be in pain. I get this a lot. That and its all in your head. I just want a place to come and talk to people who wont tell me I must be lying because I dont look sick. Now I know I didnt tell you much about myself, but thats because I never know what to say!
