Liquid Morphine vs Oxyfast

Hello - I've been having a nasty pain period. Relentless days with 9s and 10s.

I take oxycontin regularly and have been taking oxyfast for " breakthrough "

medication. (I also take other medications to deal with the problems involved

in my chronic pain - lamictal, baclofen, an anti-anxiety medication and an

anti-depressant.)

Hopefully, this period will pass and I can get back to my usual 6-7-8 days, with

periods of 9-10. Until then, my doctor just suggested trying liquid morphine

for breakthrough medication. Except after surgery, I have not had experience

with this medication. (I do remember the morphine pump in the hospital - great

idea - pain medication and control!)

Has anyone had experience with liquid morphine? Other ideas?
