Guest guest
, are you doing CP? If so, you get a wonderful purple with alkanet root. Take a small (VERY!) amount, grind it up, infuse with 1 cup of olive oil and add to the base oils. I just made a batch yesterday (cheating my sick bed ~ I got bored!!) that is lilac colored and is wonderful! I had about 8 oz of infused olive oil with alkanet root and added that to my base oils when melting. It was tooooooooo purple so I toned it down with titanium dioxide and today it's a lovely lilac type of color. Hope this helps! ~ Simply Soap & Sundries ~ Minnesota ..:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:. A Place for Tulips http://members.tripod.com/~Tulips/ Soap!
