Marathi Translation of RCH 2 Policy

Ma’am / Sir,

The Institute of Health Management Pachod has

translated the RCH 2 urban health strategy policy document into Marathi

and published it in the form of a booklet. Thus we have made the policy

document accessible to a large segment of the population. We at IHMP

feel these should be made available to as large a segment of the

development sector as possible. Therefore we are making it available at

a subsidized rate of Rs Ten (as compared to a cost price of Rs Twenty

Five)

Within

the framework of the development sector numerous organizations have

problems creating linkages between their programmes and the public

sector RCH 2 Programme. Thus numerous organizations would benefit from

the crucial information contained in this document. This book would

thus be useful not only to Municipal Corporations but also to other

agencies and CBOs participating in the field of health care.

It

is anticipated that some organisations may require an orientation to

the RCH 2 policy and we at IHMP plan to conduct workshops to facilitate

the process of operationalising linkages and demand generation for

maternal and neonatal health services. We shall inform you of these in

due course.
