Guest guest
Hey guys, Sorry to be so absent. We have just been exhausted here. I have been trying to catch up on mail but I am not getting very far. So if I have neglected anyone, please forgive me. If there is anything that I need to address or can help with, let me know! You guys will be interested to know that they scheduled the girls for testing in June. Now, I am getting nervous about it and don't know if I can handle it. That's a change, isn't it? I may cancel. Haven't decided yet. Re: Creon 10- They changed us to Pancrease MT10 in the hospital, so I have about 400 Creon if anyone wants them, let me know. Also, Cheryl, so sorry to hear about your little Jake's dx. I did see a little about breastfeeding that you were writing about, although I haven't been able to read it all. I am a lactation consultant, not board certified yet (haven't been able to take exam because of responsibilities with right now), but have been practicing nine years. So, if I can help in ANY way, please let me know. Also, sometime I will tell you my experiences with bf . We did not know at that time he had cf, yet very suspected, but although he was very small at that time (not now), I feel that he is tremendously healthier because of the breast milk. I, for one, am so glad that your little Jake had breast milk for a while. That is great and if you don't do anymore breast milk at all, be proud of what you have done for him already. He got a lot of antibodies from you during that time; so that is wonderful. And, if he is gaining weight now, that is wonderful. I know how these docs feel about breast milk. So, anyway, just let me know if you want to talk. I can call you anytime. Take care everyone, , mom to three, w/cf P. S. , you guys ok????
