I see a pain management physician for a myriad of treatments. In addition to

meds, I do physical therapy and traction.

I do take pain medications. I also do reflexology, myofacial release,

meditation, lots of stretching, strength training, and some mild to moderate

cardio walking. I use a whole bunch of distraction (see other recent posting

for a good discussion.

I would recommend checking out books on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and

pain management. You can find several on Amazon. CBT has/is helping me with

identifying triggers that make the pain worse, precursors to pain, and practice

moderation.
