Guest guest
Hi All, I am new here and have been reading all your posts for a few weeks. I have been having chronic knee pain for over 15 years. Bad pain. Just had my first knee replacement 10/11/10. Second one is scheduled for 8/31/11. Doing well with the first one. The pain in my other knee is unbelievable but i only have a few months ago. Working full time and on my feet alot during the day. Now, out of the blue, I have developed Occipital headaches over the last month or so and they are just increasing in severity. It is mostly on the right side of my head. Starts at my neck, goes up the back of my head and winds around my ear. Sends sharp shooting pains through my ear. Hurts to touch the back of my head or my forehead, which sets off the same pain. The chiropractor has been no help at all. It has always helped with my upper back pain and knots, but my neck has only gotton worse. He doesn't do the manual manipulation but uses a device that kind of staples down the side of my neck on each side. also using ultraound and stim. Does anybody have experience with these headaches and what treatment was helpful. I am seeing a neurologist in 3 weeks Happy Memorial Day
