Guest guest
Christa, protect your ankle and stay off of it. Perhaps using a foot stool to keep it elevated. Just tell yourself only a few days, I can protect my ankle from further harm that long. You can do it. Jennette >Christa wrote: Hi All, I'm in a lot of pain. Guest guest
I gather that the doctor will not prescribe any pain medicine until the surgery? Have you tried ice? If you keep it immobile does that reduce the pain? I would say try to go back to the ER, but they may not be willing to give you anything if you were just there for the same complaint. Maybe you could call the doctor's office again and ask if there is something that they could suggest to reduce the pain or some medication that might be help in the short term. Gentle hugs, Tami Christa wrote: > I'm in a lot of pain.
