Hi Joe,

Two more comments about that book that I forgot to

mention before:

(p2) " The mind is the origin of thought and the

consciousness; it creates the power to formulate

thought and is the source of all wisdom.(It is a

greater intelligence than our individual mind). "

Whaaat??!! How exactly is my mind greate than my

individual mind? Sounds pretty fishy to me.

And, " Clearly, serenity has many benefits. If our

sole purpose for pursuing it is to gain these

benefits, however, then we have put the cart before

the horse. Serenity must come first, above all

things. "

This one is mighty suspicious Joe. Imagine

this one: " Sobriety has many benefits- health, jobs,

friends, hobbies, financial gain, clearer thinking,

feeling happier,etc.However, if our sole purpose for

pursuing sobriety is to gain these benefits... " -!! Why

the hell else would you want to get sober , for

Christ's sake?!! " Recovery comes first! " " We must put

the program before everything else ! " Sound familiar,

Joe?!!
