Guest guest
i have had it a month i know my real problem is my left leg is shorter so i have chronic sciatica and lumbar pain but now this and i can't walk-its been a month. i am using the cold ice but now what?thank you. cathie Hi Cathie Is there some reason why you can't have a special shoe, or insert for shoes to make your legs the same size? Here good inexpensive exercises for plantar fascitis: http://tinyurl.com/3jqqa89 http://tinyurl.com/y8kvubx One I did not see is to do when you are sitting in a chair. Take a tennis ball, place it under your foot and roll it around. It especially helps if you have to sit for long periods of time. Some people find splints of various types to wear at night helpful. Personally I would find that very uncomfortable, so here is a link about taping your foot: http://tinyurl.com/yj4te5 I hope these will help. Guest guest
Which foot is the painful one? My right leg is shorter by 3/8 of an inch and it was that foot that had the bone spur and plantar fasciitis. I forgot to mention, they make these " boot " to be worn while sleeping that holds the foot at a 90 degree angle to the leg. It's meant to keep that tendon stretched out while it's healing to prevent the stretching/tearing first thing of a morning when you stand. That makes perfect sense to me.
