Guest guest
I hope you don't give up the search or hope for a relief to your suffering. Are your doctors searching for clinical trials? I sometimes watch Netflix on my computer, it's nice to be able to pause when I need to and I can change position depending on what chair I'm in. Typing is a real pain inducing activity as is doing dishes, taking a shower or bath, washing clothes. Even opening or closing a window is likely to trigger horrible back pain that may last days. Some days I am just so tired of it all. I try not to think into the future. I really am wishing for your relief, so you can enjoy more with your wife and others you are close to. So my question is, if you are in this form of serious pain how do you keep going without out wanting to jump off a bridge. I don't see anything ahead but more unbearable suffering and no medical help (and I have seen the best around the USA
Guest guest
Hi Jeanette One of the problems with a medication damaged brain is that it reacts to other medications in severe ways. We have been in touch with top neurophysiologist all over the world. My doctors told me to not look for other medications and it was up to my body and God!! > Jennette wrote: > I hope you don't give up the search or hope for a relief to your suffering. Guest guest
For ME I think that treating the depression that often follows chronic pain helps people face life with chronic pain. At least for me, though I am Bi Polar, which is different from depression, getting on a medication that helped me to NOT feel like jumping off the bridge was a lifeline. My particular medication isn't a traditional anti-depressive, but rather works to keep my mood swings from going (or staying) too far either way. But it helped me stop being in the major depression that I entered when my daughter reached 18, moved out and then married. Helping the depression might help the pain. But as to what to do with pain that you can't get treatment for, I don't know. I'm not sure what to say, other than keep asking doctors to find new ways to help, and not give up. I don't see anything ahead but more unbearable suffering and no medical help (and I have seen the best around the USA) My healing journey: I wish I knew the answer to that question, as just this past week, I had to change my break thru and I could not get out of my cycle of pain. I also stay real still when I first wake up before I take my timed morphing and then will watch a movie. I have suggested the " Survival Guide for Intractable Pain Patients " which it seems that is what you have, Intractable Pain. Well, I just look at my husband and it would kill him if I died and I don't say anything to him about how horrible it is, but he knows. I don't know if you have a pain management Doctor that you are pleased with, but if not, you need to seek someone who is specialized in what you have. I have pets that I care for and also do some animal rescue online for a local group writing grants, fostering etc, when I can. This group has been a lifesaver. You will have someone that will reach out to you. My niece had some nuerotoma tumors that wrapped around her carotid and jugular veins and she saw a specialist in Calf that did sterotactial brain surgery with a gamma knife and I think I have read about this for pain in the brain. Did you have damage from the MRI dye ? I hope for you identification of what you have or referral to someone who can help you. I am not a Doctor but I also do some of the things you do but I do not even pace, it hurts to sit and I wish I had not butt, as my whole butt hurts. Bennie Butt, just call me that from now on, oh yes, don't lose your sense of humor or Faith whatever you know that to be. BB
