Why can't one pain killer kill all the pain?

I'm perplexed. Why can't there be just one? I take VicodinHP for my leg pain.

I take Lyrica for nerve pain. I take Fenytil(sic) for muscle tightness

I have Meloxicam tablets for shoulder pain(burcitis). Zolpidem for helping me

to sleep. Seroquil for calming me down.

I take several depression medications too! including the Seroquil.

I'll have to talk to my Doctors about this. Get them all on the same page.
