Ideas needed for gift for person leaving work due to permanent disability

My husband has an employee whose last day is next week. She is leaving because

she has Lou Gerigh's (sp?). Rapidly progressing. She is a wonderful employee.

Any ideas on what kind of farewell gift would be meaningful from the company?
