Guest guest
I had an MRI without contrast done back in May, which was completely normal they said. I don't think that my neurologist will order one *with* contrast just to check. I think he ordered the one without contrast just to appease me. e.h. >Lyndi wrote: > , > > Have you had an MRI (with and without contrast) done on your neck? Lyndi, Thank You for writing that ,ditto, , you have the right to refuse and I only have a gentle stretch program and my physical therapist does not tell me I must walk, she says do what you can. Intractable pain patients are the the same as athletes that must do a mile-complete whatever. I once had someone ask me why didn't I sit down and I said, let me stick a steak knife in the middle of your butt and you sit down on your butt with the knife in it. All, Those of us with hardware need to have it done with contrast as the hardware is magnified, on x[rays also) so it is best to have both as it allows to see narrowing of the canals etc. Make sure you ask them about the contrast and what brand type it is. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/422855-overview Bennie
