Guest guest
<Now I know there is a rule of thumb as to the amounts you use.... so many oz/per lb. What I'm wondering is.....is this liquid oz or weight oz. I've discovered, at least with the stuff I've used so far, is that these DO weigh less than water, therefore the liquid oz and the weighted oz amounts WILL be different. My 50ml bottle of Lavender EO I used last night only weighed 1.7oz and I actually needed 2 oz. No biggie, but this really will make a difference when comparing prices whether suppliers sell by the different scale. Some suppliers sell by oz., some by ml and some in volume say #'s. Is this complicated or am I just not getting it?? I assumed unless stated you always measured by weight, but fo/eo's are still a bit of a mystery..... > We sell by weight which is why when you receive orders from us, the heigth of the oils in the bottle is different. Each oil has a different specific gravity and some are heavier than water and some are lighter. You will find that most citrus oils are lighter than water. We recomend .7 ounces weight per pound of CP soap but again, that's a personal choice. Many people like lighter and others like heavier scents.
