**Reminder** In addition, if you are an EMS, hospital, RAC, or EMS billing

company and have developed, or are currently developing, your own EMS/Trauma

Registry data collection and submission software application, please contact

our office at 1- to set up an account and schedule testing of

your application with the new state reporting system.

Important Notice: Phase one of deployment of the new Texas EMS/Trauma

Registry System is underway. For those EMS firms or hospitals that plan on

utilizing the new systems on line data collection form that allows the user

to enter their data directly into a data collection form please call our

office at extension 2809 to request a packet be sent to you for

the set up of your account. These packets are to be completed and sent back

to our office so we can establish the entities account and provide a user

ID, password and registry URL. Again, this will be a phased process that

involves over 1200 entities.

We are still accepting data submissions via modem utilizing the old EMS and

hospital format and new format. A word of caution: If you are submitting

your data utilizing a software product developed to comply with the new data

format please check the list of software companies that have passed testing.

If the product has not passed testing you may have to resubmit the data if

the company has to make changes to their application that you are utilizing

for data submission prior their product completing the testing process.

We have updated the EMS participation report on our website that reflects
