It's painful and so hard to get back on my feet. I have two very helpful tools for cleaning the tub. The first is a toilet scrub wand dedicated to the tub only. The second is a longer scrub brush on a stick for washing your outside windows. The second is long enough I can use it like a broom on the bottom and sides of the tub. The former gives me enough control that I can wipe down the knobs. I don't have to lean over in either case. Gentle hugs all around.

Guest guest
All, I wash my tub while I am in the shower and my son has an aquarium brush he bought and I got one and it is dedicated to the tub. This way, when I am standing up I can clean up the upper parts and lower parts when I sit down to start the water for my bath. I designate a day of the week for each cleaning chore like dusting, bathrooms, mopping. I like the swiffer mop as it squirts out the side and gets in corners. My cat and dogs have hair so I vacuum once to twice a week and depending on how I feel, my husband or I do it. I have a stair attachment and if you guys don't, there is a small shark vacuum that is inexpensive, that can do it. I have an upright upstairs in our empty room and then I use our rainbow (uses water not bags) and gets up lots of cat hair. The ceiling fans are cleaned with a rag tied around a mop or a brush I have for it and I spray Febreze on my curtains, sofa, pillows to keep dust and smelling clean. If I get way behind, I do have someone who charges by the hour that I get to come in and help me clean. I have tools in a plastic basket that I carry around to where I need and then the cleaners in each bathroom if they are too heavy.
