Guest guest
Hi Group, Ever since I started Savella on July 27th it has been side effect after side effect after side effect after side effect. I have had the sweats, dizziness, headaches, nasty depression. Those four are dealt with and no more. Now I deal with stomach aches. I use Pepto Bismal which does a good job of dealing with the stomach ache. Then yesterday high anxiety hit and I called my doctor's office today about the anxiety and the doctor watching his patients till he comes back from vacation is helping me out. I went to CVS and had a talk with the pharmacist and mentioned I started this medication on July 27th . The pharmacist said I cannot tolerate Savella and had I been able to I should have started to feel pain relief before today. Lastly the pharmacist said I need to see the pain doctor which I will at 7:30am tomorrow. I shall speak with my pain doctor and see what will happen. Guest guest
This sounds a lot like serotonin syndrome to me. I've had a couple bouts with it, and it can be dangerous if not kept in check. Some people are just susceptible to it and it usually happens when starting and/or stopping any medication that effects the serotonin levels in your body. It can also happen when changing the dose of those meds. Please let the group know how you're doing and what the doc has suggested for you. in TN > Christy wrote: > Ever since I started Savella on July 27th it has been side effect after side effect after side effect after side effect.
