Guest guest
H Rick If it's a bit hot, then the head will be really sweaty in the morning- so you would know for sure. My daughter's head used to be a bit sticky, but nothing more. I'm sure it's just trying to adjust to a new position- the other thing to think about is that they often hit teething around the exact same time as a helmet- so it may be your little one is waking due to the helmet and then teething a little and not getting back to sleep. You could try liquid paracetemol or whatever you use for a night and see if it makes any difference, if it does, you know it is pain related. It's sooo hard to know, though. I'm sure it will sort in a few days (and I would probably do what you suggested and leave them for a little bit to settle themselves- but then I am of that persuasion as long as they are not hysterical anyway!!!) Good luck- do keep us updated. It's really tiring, isn't it, especially if you have got used to a decent night's sleep again...
