Oh, , I was not correcting you, I just had gone to the FDA site to see

why it was taken off the market. I hate it when good medications get taken off

the market. I have signed up for the FDA recall list and they send e mails but

this was not sent on Midrin.

I get so frustrated trying to find out things that are good for us and they get

taken off. I think Oxycodene in a certain amount got changed and other

medications have been recalled and I am also curious why. That was the only

reason I was researching this and found out the Manufacturer was at fault not

the FDA and wanted to share that, it had nothing to do with correcting you : )

There are sometimes wierd reasons medications are recalled thus the reasons the

medications state " off label use " to protect themselves if they state is a

medication for a diagnosis and then the FDA recalls the medication because it

cannot be used so the manufacturers state " off label use " and they can use it

for a number of diagnoses.

Most of the medications, Topamax, Neurotin and some others were used and are

used as anti-seizure medications . They state the Viagra was in clinical trials

for Blood Pressure treatment and sustained erections were reported by many, and

the manufacter released it as a ED medication.

So you see there are many reasons medications are changed or recalled. Bennie
