to poly re my amnio results

poly, you are right i do have to wait 2 weeks for amnio results, but what i was saying was that there is a thorough u/s check done by a tech and a dr before the amniotic fluid is drawn, They check each little part of the body and measure all bone lengths 3 times. There are many markers for possible genetic and chromsomal disorders that can be found even before you get your results. Sometimes shortened bone lengths, and other things can be found like cystic hygroma, spina bifida, and other markers that could indicate downs, turners syndrome, and other things , none of these things were found on my baby, and 2 years ago, 2 things were found on my baby, shortened bone lengths and cystic hygroma, so what i was saying is the baby looks great so far, but i do still have to wait for my amnio results,but i am really feeling great about the chance this baby is ok.....judy
