Thanks Poly for the advice. I have been staying in since the last incident

in July I really do not do anything. My house is still in some boxes and

bags since our move. My kids and husband are the ones who do for me. They

are wonderful. The doc. even commented about my feet not being swollen as big

as I am. She did comment on my size of the stomach and said to keep up the

good work. She said the babies should be getting real big and I should just

watch how I get up and the strain I will have later.

Thank you and God bless you.

Elly: Oh I'm so sorry to hear you are having more scary stuff....and

eager to know what you find out. So it wasn't bright red blood right?

It couldnt' have been your mucus plug could it? I certainly hope not,

it's too soon for that!!

Keep us up-to-date when you have any news. Hang in there, you are in

my prayers.

Hi Elly-

Well I was further along than you but after that I started to have

more braxton hicks I don't know that that meant anything but it was

the begining stages for my body to start to get ready for labor.

After that things slowly happened to get ready for labor, I don't

want you to think that you'll be going into labor like tomorrow or

anything, my daughter was a week late. So if it was your mucus plug

your probbly about right on target. I hope that this helps.

Thanks Glenda I was doing fine until tonight where I had more Mucous come

down. I called again and one of the doctors that see me said not to worry

that as long as my cervix is closed I have nothing to worry about. She also

told me that they canceled the test to determine Preterm labor because it was

not going to be accurate because when you are with twins it won't read as it

is supposed to. Of course I was upset but she said that everything was fine

and make sure I am on bedrest and to only get up to go to the bathroom. She

said that my uterus is really stretched and I have to really take it easy

more than before. So now I am up and it is almost 12:00 am and I probably

won't get to bed till who knows when. I still have some pain in my right

side but she said I am really stretching so just to relax. Easier said than

done.

Well thanks for hearing me out. God bless you.

Gwen you will never be butting in I am always so impressed on all your advice

you give to everyone and where you find the time is unbelievable. Thank you

for always being there for the girls like me who really need a lifter once in

awhile. I too kind of feel like I am not being taken care of I have a

follow-up appt. tomorrow at 1:00 and an U/S scheduled Oct. 5 I will ask tons

of questions about what is going on and why I can't get answers. When I

called the doc. last night because of the mucous coming down again all she

said was that the docs always get together for their meetings and I was

brought up and that she spoke with an pertinoligist and Explained my

situation and On Friday I will be getting some answers hopefully. I called

them because I had the mucous come down again and she said that because my

uterus is so strectched that it may be causing some heavy discharge and as

long as there is no blood I should not worry. She said to stay off my feet

and complete bedrest until we can see what is happening. I am one that

really does not do anything but sit, lay down go to the bathroom lay down,

sit and really do nothing. I used to walk maybe 1 block and then go back but

not anymore. I know they did analysis on the urine and cultures I will know

tomorrow. Keep your positive attitude Gwen and all is going to go well I just

can't wait to here those words from you POSITIVE. I know that day is getting

closer I can feel it. POSITIVE VIBES ARE GOING YOUR WAY. GOD BLESS YOU AND

YOUR FAMILY.

Elly: I am sorry to " butt-in " here, but I am worried that you are not

getting the care you need. It sounds like you should be followed much

more closely than you are being followed right now. Are you seeing a

perinatologist or an OB or both? Do you have a follow-up appointment

scheduled soon? Do they have any explanation for you as to why you

would be passing clots of mucus at this stage of your pregnancy?

Thinking of you....
