Guest guest
Torsten, NOOOOO, you dont' want an antibiotic!!! It would only make the yeast infection worse. IN fact, the yeast she has is likely from moist conditions combined with antibiotic use. Diflucan is really the only oral drug that might help the yeast infection, but they usually use it as a last resort, as it is powerful. Clotrozimal, or whatever you have (nystatin also works) but the Lotrimin (clotromizole) seems to work best for us. It works better, though, if applied several times a day under zinc oxide to keep it on the skin longer. All of my kids have had this at one time or another, and this has always worked for us. (Also, Ron's PHD was actually on Candida Albicans, the main culprit in yeast infections.... so we hear alot about yeast, lol in our house!) Take care and good luck!!
