Guest guest
My sister and I have the same back issues. I am new to this and feel I have learned what Not to do. She has had over 10 back surgeries. There are meds that can help instead of some of her surgeries. The slightest tingle sent her off to 4 doctors until she found one that would cut. He worked on the wrong disc. She did way too many epidural injections and cannot have anymore. Now, she sits in ICU and will not allow me or my dad to visit. Even when she got to a regular room. She insists her young sons take care of her. She left them for us to raise when they were in high school. Thru your posts, I'm beginning to see why she's being manipulative and cutting out her immediate family. The games people play. ellen --- " A " wrote: > > > Some people react to high anxiety situations by responding with the opposite reaction. They are unable to cope and use this defense to try and deny their anxiety. The more you try and break through that, the more they fortify their defenses. >
