Hi and welcome! I went through the same thing trying to get resolution or at

least help with my pain. I asks my pcp 3x for a referral( I had called and been

told I need a doctor to refer me). he said he would manage my pain. When I

would call that I need to see the doctor or refill the med, the nurse would give

me a major hard time.

Finally my chiropractor referred me (bless his heart!) I had to wait a week

till they called me with an appointment and then 3 weeks to be seen.

At least now I have a routine with them. It is hard to get into most doctors!

Had it all done that same day. Now 10 days later I had not heard a word from his

office. Again I had to call, this time 3 times to finally get an answer from

his nurse. I have severe degenerative facet disease and they recommend I see a

Pain specialist.
