Hi ,

I just had this done 2 weeks ago today. I was in so much pain AFTER it for at

least a week! So, be prepared for the pain to be worse for a bit. I haven't

noticed any improvement in my pain yet. My doc says it can take a month to feel

any better. My pain is in my upper back.

Hope this helps you some. I know I asked about it and there are a few on here

who have had it as well, so maybe they will chime in too.

Best to you,

~

Have you tried intrathecal morphine? You do a trial and I'd it works, you

can get a permanent pump installed (I apologize if you've discussed this

before).

I had an eighty-five percent reduction in pain during my pump trial and I'm

currently waiting on the final pump.

Hi , I have had this procedure 2 times. Both times has been for facet

problems. I have been as close to pain free as I ever would have hoped. When I

got home I put ice on the sites for 20 min every hour and stayed off of my feet

for about 24 hours. But went back to work, I am a nurse on my feet for 12 hours,

in 2 days without pain. I have had the regular injections with varied response

but I swear by this procedure. I had pain in my low backdown my legs.

Hope you get relief soon.
