Be careful with steam mops. Hubby ruined our hardwood floor and popped the wood

trim off the walls courtesy of our steam mop. Bad news!

All,

Also, my first Bissell carpet cleaner was great but the new ones have a rubbery

plastic insert that cracks and breaks Do not like. Just rent the rug doctor.

That must have been one wild steam mop! The new home use steam mops

come with settings for various floor types, including a very light

setting for hardwood. I'd still be leery of using one on hardwood

though. For linoleum however, they're great.
