Guest guest
Be careful with steam mops. Hubby ruined our hardwood floor and popped the wood trim off the walls courtesy of our steam mop. Bad news! > wrote: >I have this and i love it! I had originally bought the Shark but took that one back for the Bissell. I like that it sweeps the floor 1st then you click a button and it turns into a steam mop. You use plain tap water so no chemicals and it dries in seconds. Guest guest
All, Also, my first Bissell carpet cleaner was great but the new ones have a rubbery plastic insert that cracks and breaks Do not like. Just rent the rug doctor. Bennie

The new home use steam mops come with settings for various floor types, including a very light setting for hardwood. I'd still be leery of using one on hardwood though. For linoleum however, they're great. Lyndi
