Guest guest
The torticollis usually causes the head rotation thus causing the flat spot so if his flat spot is on the back right (looking from back of head forward) then he has left tort and you would still want him to rotate his head to the left. That way his range of motion will be improved and his flat spot will not be making contact with his mattress. Does that make sense? I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this and with having other children it must be very stressful. We are here anytime you need to vent. Natasha > I have an appointment on Feb 21st with AI Dupont Childrens Hospital in Deleware, that is where we take Kaden for his cleft lip and palate. They are very surprised that our ped. is refusing to send Kaden for an Xray or MRI, they said that most likely they will have to do an MRI. > > I am so worried, I am trying soooo hard to keep him on his left side at night, since the right is flat, but then he moves so much, and also we should be laying him on his right side because of the tort, I am not sure which one to do! UGH!!! > > > I am so physically and emotinally drained already with everything going on with his cleft lip and palate, I can't take anymore. I am about to loose it, have a breakdown that is. > > Thanks everyone > (land) > Kaden 11 weeks BCLP, torti, plagio > Austin 5 mild cerebal palsy > Step mommy to 12, 6 and twins Kira and Austin
