American Pain Option has a brochure that lists treatment options for pain, it is concise and includes alternative and complementary. Bennie, Thanks. This looks like great information. Guest guest
Bennie, I went to site, so much to look at, looks like at lot of good 'stuff'. I do not what to look at first. Remember I have been in pain since I was 8yrs. old. Mom was a single parent with no insurance, so I never got the care I needed. She 'COMPLAINED' until she died, that she took me to a Chirproctor 2 times. I started seeing Dr's in my early 20's, when I had insurance. I have been and done it all, I think it was too late for me by then. Her 3 days of moving every few months. I think made my Back worse, she put too much on me, in many ways. I would be throwing up cause of the pain, all she would say was 'Swallow it & get these boxes to the car'. My Sister and I were scared to tell her if we ever got sick, she would yell for hours, about my X-Dad, her Dad, her Sister that died, on and on. It was better just to tough it out, my sister was younger, she did not have that much to do. 'Mom's Baby'. So now who is 'the sickest person in the world'? Yep my Sister, her husband and son do everything for her. That's why she was so mad and LOST when Mom died, I just had a rod put in arm, that was changed to a shorter one a few weeks later. I JUST COULD o'T DO IT ALL, as I always did. But it was 'cute' to watch her trying to figure out what to do next. . . mean of me HUH? Well over the years if I offered her any advice, she would SCREAM at me, everyone would look at her as if she was nuts. Well you cannot call a 'Thrift Store to pick up the furniture, if it's full of stuff, can you? I do not care about spelling now. Have to rest some, I will talk with you later, you're a good member of this group. Love ya, Pegi P.S. Thanks for all you do. > Bennie wrote: > I was just able to read some research I have saved and wanted to share it. American Pain Option has a brochure that lists treatment options for pain, it is concise and includes alternative and complementary. It is one of the most concise I have ever read and wanted to share it with you and list organizations at the end. > http://www.painfoundation.org/learn/publications/
