Guest guest
Hang in there, buddy. Steve, you're gonna be alright. My pain management doc has physicians assistants who help us. They do pain pumps and anything Medtronics. My sister has the medtronics device as does a close friend that had a crushed vertebrae. She has a titanium cage that slipped 30 degrees and presses on her spinal cord. She had fallen off a 12 foot ladder. She has 'lollipops' for breakthrough pain. You don't suck them, you rub them on the inside of your cheek. None of your doctors have samples of Actiq? What is that med for? I did some laundry today and popped my pain to a 9. I have exhausted all possibilities for any procedures to be able to go back to work. I have no safety net. I'm scared. My final hearing to a judge is in mid-Dec.  Then it could be 90 days before I get any payments. I have to rent a room in a strangers house. I didn't pay attention to how much pain med I took. I took a second dose too close to the first dose. Im all loopy. And I still hurt bad. I don't want to take my breakthru meds. I have the same problem and if you knew me personally, you would know that I bend over backwards not to offend. Like you Steve, I am at home all the time and have time to research so I post often and it comes from wanting to help plus learning from others. I did not take anything offensive from anything you posted and admire you greatly dealing with the issues you have too and having such a good attitude. Just know you and your health are more important than worrying about this but understand the need to apologize because of the good person you are. I accept your apology to respect you but I personally was not offended about anything but have been in the same situation myself. Just know we care and don't let it prevent you from posting so you can be encouraged and all of us need that. You are in my prayers. I emphathize. Guest guest
We love you, too, Steve. Don't sweat the small stuff - these GI problems are hard enough to contend with.
