Guest guest
An earlier post about drinking 8 glasses of water a day got me thinking that I had seem some recent news that " debunked " this common belief, showing that there is no scientific evidence that this amount of water is necessary or even helpful, outside of conditions involving true dehydration (such as athletes or living in the desert like Phoenix!) A quick Google search turned up a news story on the new research - these are top-notch scientists at a top-notch research institution, and they published their study in the best journal in their field. As a scientist myself, this is pretty convincing evidence that maybe we've all believed an old wive's tale all these years! http://tinyurl.com/43ezfc8 Cheryl in AZ Moderator
