Check out the CBS Evening News w/ Dan Rather Friday 2/11/00. This mentions

35 disorders that can now be tested for... some of which are mito disorders!

I've already thought that having these tests available might allow Staci's

birthmom to be more comfortable with having other children when she's

ready....

Thanks Stacimom! I missed the CBS News when they

reported on expanded newborn screening, but I did

manage to find Baylor's website. It looks very

promising and I mailed the link to my OB doctor. I

can't thank you enough.
