Guest guest
Ian almost positive that it doesn't matter where the ID is from, but tiu should call the ALJ to be sure. Steve M in PA I am not in my hometown. I have temporarily relocated among the homes of several friends and family. I have no permanent place to get a drivers license where my dad lives. My SSDI hearing is in Dec. I have ordered my birth certificate to try to get one in time. It says I need a valid state I.d. but does it have to be from the state where my hearing is held?l
Guest guest
Your valid ID has to be from the state you are from. You need to get someone that you are staying with to let you use their address. Then you can apply for benefits such as food stamps, healthcare, etc. Good luck. I will say a prayer for you. I would just have both if you don't get an answer. Sometimes they ask for a billing address from an utility bill of the place you are staying but to be sure contact the people who requested it. The Department of Public Safety can assist you. I would call them to be sure. Good Luck Ellen. Bennie
