Guest guest
Just a quick jump in here... I've been trying the Miralax's (generic and brand) and one thing I've concluded for SURE is that whatever moisture IS in my body, it sucks right out. I've had a dry mouth for a couple of years, but it's MUCH worse when I do the Miralax. I have yet to find THE right balance of " stool softeners " *(which don't) and " laxatives " (and how many) and Miralax, but I'm slowly working my through all your suggestions and perhaps a solution will come SOME day! It SEEMS to be coming down to a scattershot combo of various items PLUS good ole finger action after the 3rd day. sigh. love, Helena > Cheryl wrote: > This may be the problem for the " general population, " but for those of us on opiates, you could drink gallons of water and it wouldn't help. The drugs actually slow and stop the motion of the bowel, and that must be addressed medically. Drinking water will just make you urinate more - it won't start a bowel moving again.
