Guest guest
, Thank you so much!! Those are excellent suggestions. I will see if I can find something to adjust the height of my chair. I cannot afford a new one, but I know that they make balance-balls that are flat on the bottom and I have seen them on the Internet; I have thought about getting one of those and putting it on my chair and sitting on it--then it would not just help with the height, but also with my posture. About the angled v-shaped book holder, do you know where I can find one of those? I wonder if I could get one at " Staples Depot Max " . I think that that is an excellent suggestion, and if I can find one or several of those, I will try it out. As for the lamps, I know I have another one somewhere that is (nearly) identical to the one I have on the right side of my desk. It might be at my mom's house, I am not sure. I will see if I can find it. Otherwise, I will buy another one at Home Depot or Lowes. Do you, or can anyone, direct me to some websites where there are pictures and descriptions of different types of stretches that I can do at my desk, or even just in general? It would help a lot if I could see pictures. I also do know that some stretches make my neck and back hurt actually worse, but some that I do do indeed make my neck and back feel better. Any websites anyone can provide, or lists of stretches with descriptions, would be very helpful. Thank you again, , for your suggestions!! And I think it is awesome that you made it through grad school and many desk jobs with all of your back and neck pain problems and your dry eyes--that gives me hope yet!! e.h.
