Faking it

I am so sick and tired of people saying to me " You don't look sick!!! " Tell me,

what does sick LOOK LIKE????

I would trade placed with any " well " person ANY DAY!!! I have just spent the

better part of three days let's say, in an " intimate relationship " with my

commode! I have Crohn's disease and for those of you who aren't familiar with

it, well, I equate it with putting a fire hose in one's mouth on full blast for

several days. Sorry for the vivid description, but I feel it's a good and valid

one.

The whole episode causes episodic waves of cramping pain that are reminiscent of

labor pains, only worse. Then imagine the result of it on your digestive and

intestinal system. After that, you are wiped out and dehydrated for about a

week. You are depleted of all energy, wiped out and need to sleep. Many times I

have needed to get re-hydrated as an inpatient at the local hospital.

Aside from all of that, I have Ankylosing spondylitis which is having a great

time fusing my joints together and causing lots of inflammation and pain of it's

own!!

I also experience seizures and migraines. These ailments are all made up of

course, by me, they think, it's amazing though, that my doctors have all been

fooled by me and have prescribed medications for all of these diagnosis that

they have made. At least, that's what I think most of my family believes!!!

Maybe other people too!!??

Oh, I forgot, I also have Central Sleep Apnea which means my brain doesn't tell

my lungs to breath enough when ever I am in a laying position. Therefore, I use

oxygen when I am in laying position to supplement this error.

I worked since age 15 1/2, two jobs most of the time. I loved working like most

of you did. I still miss it and I would give the world to be able to work again.

Who would FAKE this kind of stuff? No one in their right mind. Sometimes I think

people are just a little jealous that they have to go to work and things are

expected of them. They think we have a better deal. They should try it sometime!

They would quickly change their minds!
